Police in Indiana arrested a woman after finding video footage on her laptop of her having sex with the family dog.


Michelle Owen, asked the police to search her laptop because she’d suspected the father of her child, Heath Pierle, was using the computer to search for child pornography.

A forensic examination of the laptop yielded two videos of the woman engaging in sexual acts with the Toby, a puppy Beagle, as found in the computer’s Recycle Bin.

From the police affidavit:





When cops confronted Michelle about the videos found on her computer and asked if she “knew what those files might be,” she replied, “The one with the dog.” Michelle then asked, “Am I going to be charged with this?” She then explained that she’d filmed the videos while drunk and didn’t remember doing it until she found them the next morning while sober and tried to erase them

Broken victims of her husband's suspected Ponzi scheme are fighting for pennies on the dollar, but Ruth Madoff says $62 million she squirreled away is none of their business.

Lawyers for accused swindler Bernie Madoff claim the money and a penthouse apartment are his wife's, have nothing to do with any scheme and shouldn't be subject to forfeiture, according to documents filed in Manhattan Federal Court.

"They maintain that some of the assets ... are unrelated to the alleged Madoff fraud and only Ruth Madoff has a beneficial ownership interest in these assets," wrote Manhattan Federal Judge Louis Stanton on Monday after reviewing the documents.

Bernie Madoff's lawyers yesterday agreed to lift a freeze on some of the disgraced investment guru's assets so that the trustee hunting for lost Madoff cash can pay back ripped-off customers.

But the lawyers refused to let go of Ruth Madoff's interest in the E. 64th St. apartment, valued at $7 million, as well as $45 million in municipal bonds controlled by Cohmad Securities and $17 million in a Wachovia account.

On Feb. 11, a Massachusetts state regulator revealed that Ruth Madoff withdrew some $15 million from a Cohmad Securities account in the weeks and days before her husband's Dec. 11 arrest.

Cohmad is partially owned by Madoff and regulators claim he paid brokers who raised money for him through Cohmad. Over the past eight years, Madoff's New York investment firm paid Cohmad $67 million, nearly 84% of the firm's income over that period, Massachusetts regulators say.

Ruth Madoff has never been criminally charged in her husband's alleged fraud, but federal investigators continue to probe others who may have had a hand in a $50 billion Ponzi scheme that's been called the largest in the nation's history.

In addition to the Manhattan apartment, Ruth Madoff owns a home in Palm Beach, Fla., and the Madoffs share ownership of another home in Montauk, L.I., according to Manhattan federal prosecutors.

The Peyote Way Church of God is a non-sectarian, multicultural, experiential, Peyotist organization located in southeastern Arizona, in the remote Aravaipa wilderness. It is not affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Native American Church, or any other religious organizations, though we do accept people from all faiths. Church membership is open to all races. We encourage individuals to create their own rituals as they become acquainted with the great mystery. We believe that the Holy Sacrament Peyote, when taken according to our sacramental procedure and combined with a holistic lifestyle (see Word of Wisdom), can lead an individual toward a more spiritual life.

Peyote is currently listed as a controlled substance and its religious use is protected by Federal law only for Native American members of the Native American Church. Non-Indian Peyote use is protected in five states : AZ, NM, CO, NV, and OR. We do not have access to Peyote where it grows in South Texas and Mexico. As it is an endangered species, we believe an essential and inseparable part of our religious practice is the growing and stewardship of the Holy Sacrament Peyote.

The Church records 140 Associate members and 12 clergy. Vowed clergy members steward church grounds



To reach an awareness of the presence of the Holy Light within, we find it necessary to partake of Peyote as the Holy Sacrament. The Spirit Walk is our prescribed manner of partaking of the Holy Sacrament Peyote.

The Spirit Walk is a time of introspection and examination of conscience. It gives the individual a chance to re-evaluate their priorities. Through the Holy Sacrament Peyote, the communicant experiences a loss of selfishness and becomes aware of the god within. This heightened awareness gives the communicant a new perspective of the world and their part in it. Petty squabbles and daily strife become unimportant. Peyote often leaves the communicant glad to be alive and more in touch with the Earth and their deity. The Holy Sacrament Peyote, taken in the Spirit Walk structure, leads one to an orientation towards peaceful resolution of conflicts, empathy towards others, and environmental conscience.
